How to create a website with Joomla

From the Control Panel of Joomla select the menu “Global Configuration”. On the “Site” section you’ll find some of the important settings for your new website – its title, URLs, meta tags. You should first change the “Global Site Meta Description” according to the content of your new site. In this box you’d better include the keywords for your website with which you want to rank in the search engines' pages. Leave blank the “Meta keywords” box. In order to protect your website’s meta information tick “No” on the “Show title meta tag” and “Show author meta tag” boxes. Don’t forget the SEO settings and select “Yes” for engine-friendly URLs – very important factor for the effective indexing of the website. For the same reason – choose “No” for “URL’s suffix”.
